My SIM Card is kind of slow / the signal is poor. Why?
There are 2 potential reasons.
1 - There are a lot of factors for signal loss. There might be some sort of equipment or other something else in your environment that affect signals.
2 - Rakuten is still developing and growing. Our Data-Only plan depends on Rakuten's signals. That is why sometimes the signal may seem poor especially in the countryside. If you are living in the city, there should not be any problems.
Before ordering a Data-Only SIM Card, be sure to click on the URL on the product page to confirm if your area has good signals. -
Will my phone will work with your SIM card?
1 - As long as your phone is SIM-Free / Unlocked, your phone will work with any SIM card.
2 - If you bought your phone in Japan from a carrier store (Such as Docomo, AU, Softbank, KDDI, Y!mobile, Rakuten Mobile etc.) and if it is locked to that carrier, your phone will only work with SIM cards bought from those stores.
